Our Small Groups

Image goes here.
Life was never meant to be a “lone ranger” journey. God has made us all with a relational need to know and to be known. We believe that the best way to go deeper in these relationships is through our small groups. All of our small groups meet in people’s homes. Please join us for one or more of them throughout the week!

Home Groups
  • Clements’ home group—Meets Mondays from 7 - 8:30 pm at the Clements’.  We enjoy and encourage one another in conversation and prayer.  We also discover God's Word together through overview and verse-by-verse study of books of the Bible. We are currently studying Romans, "the greatest letter ever written,” that changed the lives of the "giants of faith" and countless ordinary folks like us. We want you to jump in anytime! For more info contact Brian or Karen Clements (brian@go2hope.org).
  • Marriage home group—Meets Wednesdays at 7pm at the Quigley's.  We are currently in the series, “If You Want to Walk on Water You've Got to Get Out of the Boat”, a 6-week series by John Ortberg.  For more info, contact Kelly or Beth Griffin (kelly@go2hope.org).
  • Okamoto's home group— Meets Thursday 7-8:45pm in the Okamoto's neighborhood. One of the greatest gifts that was purchased by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the gift of the Holy Spirit.  In fact, many would say that the book of Acts should have been entitled the Acts of the Spirit rather than the Acts of the Apostles.  But who is the Holy Spirit?  How does He desire to work in our lives?  What does that look like in real life?  Join us as we study the book of Acts!  For more info contact Wayne Okamoto (wayne@go2hope.org).

Men’s Groups

  • Saturday Morning Men’s Breakfast—Meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 8-10 am at Gary Grant's.  We have begun a new series by Greg Laurie entitled “Tell Someone.” This refreshing look at outreach from one of the nation's most prominent pastors and evangelists will help Christians—new and old alike—discover the joy of touching lives as the good news of Jesus naturally overflows into their daily lives. For more info contact Gary Grant (gary@go2hope.org).

Women’s Groups

  • Coffee Connection - We meet every Tuesday at 9 am at Daisy's Artish Cafe (formerly known as Julie’s Coffee) in Lake Villa. (216 N. Milwaukee Ave.).  We get together to have coffee, smoothies, lattes, tea, a choice of some great breakfast pastries, a short devotional, and just have a great time! Invite a friend! For more info contact Karen Clements (info@go2hope.org).
  • Girls' Night OUT  - We gather periodically for a time to connect with each other in a casual, fun setting! Please come to meet, eat & enjoy the company of other women of Hope from 6-8pm.  The location varies.  Please see our website calendar or our Sunday morning worship program for our next time together and location. For more info, please contact Karen Clements (info@go2hope.org).
  • Kati’s Women’s Group Study - We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at Laury Groh’s house at 7pm.  We are currently in a Daniel study by Beth Moore.  For more information contact Kati Quigley (info@go2hope.org).

  • Twice a month  - Our youth group includes grades 4 through senior high students.  We meet twice a month (2nd & 4th Tuesday evenings) for a time to connect, to have fun, and to encourage one another spiritually. If you have questions about our group or upcoming activities, please contact Kati Quigley (info@go2hope.org) or check the Hope calendar (go2hope.org/calendar).
